- Hand Brake Type Used:
- Stand Alone Type: Designed for dual rear caliper setups or standalone rear braking systems. Connects directly from the Handbrake Master Cylinder to the secondary calipers on the rear knuckles. Uses bulkhead fittings to prevent smoke or weather from entering the cabin.
- Inline / Pass Thru Type: Installed between the existing rear brake line to lock up the existing rear calipers. Creates a fluid detour. Starts at the factory master cylinder or at the Bias Valve OUT side if using the Chase Bays Brake Line Relocation for Brake Booster Eliminator. Then connects to the Handbrake IN side, runs from the Handbrake OUT section to the rear calipers. Uses bulkhead fittings to prevent smoke or weather from entering the cabin.
- What does "BBE" and "OEMC" mean?
- BBE means Brake Booster Eliminator and OEMC means OE Master Cylinder (stock).
Product Description
The Chase Bays Hydro Hand Brake Line Kit simplifies installing a hydraulic hand brake in an Nissan 240SX. This kit replaces the entire hardline under the chassis and the lines connected to your calipers. If switching from inline to standalone, simply reconnect the rear brake lines in the engine bay and at the calipers as before, using this kit for the new calipers. The kit features -3AN stainless steel braided, Teflon PTFE lined, black PVC coated lines, made with top-quality components and pressure-tested for a guaranteed leak-free start when properly installed.
