Weber Carburetors

A Weber carburetor is a carbureted fuel-air mixing device used to replace factory carburetors or fuel injection. It's available in progressive downdraft, sidedraft, and dual-carb configurations for classic cars, off-road builds, and performance engines.

At Redline360 we carry the full Weber catalog: 32/36 DGV and DGEV progressives, 40 and 45 DCOE sidedrafts, 44 and 48 IDF downdrafts, and more, including the standard performance swaps for air-cooled VW and Porsche engines. Every carburetor ships fast from our US warehouse with real support for jetting, rebuild kits, or install questions.

What is the most popular Weber carburetor?
The Weber 32/36 DGV progressive downdraft is the most widely used. It's a direct bolt-on replacement for many factory carburetors on 4-cylinder imports and classics, requires no custom linkage, and delivers strong throttle response and fuel economy. It's the starting point for most Weber swap builds.

What's the difference between Weber DCOE and IDF carburetors?
The DCOE is a sidedraft design — the air enters from the side of the engine. It's used with sidedraft intake manifolds on performance builds and race engines, and delivers excellent throttle response at higher RPM. The IDF is a downdraft design like a conventional carburetor and is commonly used in dual-carb setups on air-cooled engines like VW, Porsche, and classic Fiats. Both use similar jetting and internal components.

What vehicles does the Weber 32/36 fit?
The Weber 32/36 progressive carburetor is commonly used on Toyota trucks and Land Cruisers with the 20R and 22R engines, early Ford Pintos and Mustang IIs with the 2.3L, classic Volvos, early BMW 4-cylinders, and a wide range of European imports from the 1970s–90s. Redline360's listings include fitment notes — when in doubt, contact us with your year, make, model, and engine size.

Can Weber carburetors be rebuilt?
Yes. Weber carburetors are fully rebuildable and rebuild kits are available for most models including the 32/36, DCOE, and IDF series. A standard rebuild includes replacing the float, needle valve, gaskets, and accelerator pump diaphragm. Most rebuilds can be done in 1–2 hours with basic hand tools.

Does Redline360 carry Weber rebuild kits and jets?
Yes. In addition to complete Weber carburetors we stock rebuild kits, jet sets, accelerator pump diaphragms, and float valves for the most popular Weber models.
