One of the bushings from the factory is spherical, while in the other location Ford used a normal rubber bushing. This can create wheel hop under launch, as well as toe and camber change under roll, all of which are undesirable. We replace the rubber bushings with a very large spherical bearing, ensuring longevity of the bushing as well as removal of all deflection caused by the rubber bushing. This removal of deflection comes with very little added NVH, but a huge increase in consistency of the vehicle when pushed to the limits of the tire.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eS550 Mustang Rear Toe Arm bushings replace the mushy factory bushing in the rear knuckle. This replacement bushing removes the large amount of deflection that the toe bushing sees under heavy load. For reasons unknown, the Ford Performance replacement bushing for this location is wider than the regular Ford bushing, not allowing our Toe Arm, which was designed for the OEM knuckle, to fit over the Ford Performance bushing.
