This performance exhaust system bolts up to the factory cat pipes with large dual 2.50-inch mandrel-bent aluminized tubing flowing into a Scavenger Series Y-pipe that creates a stronger signal than conventional y-pipes by using two D-shaped ports back to back, giving a larger surface area than just two round pipes joined together. This creates a much stronger scavenging effect to help evacuate the cylinders during the exhaust stroke netting more power, torque and a deep unique tone. The added torque is especially useful when towing. The system flows out of the Scavenger Y-collector into a 70 Series Big Block II performance muffler giving a deep powerful sound outside the vehicle, with a moderate tone inside the cab. The mandrel-bent tailpipes exit either out the sides behind the rear tires, which is ideal for towing or straight out the back under the rear bumper for a muscular look. The dual tailpipes are finished off with a pair of 3.00-inch polished stainless steel tips embossed with the Flowmaster name.
