The SXTH trail pipe reroutes the exit up and over the axle in the same configuration Toyota uses on the Trailhunter from the factory. Clearance improvement is real — the exhaust now dumps before and above the rear axle rather than below it. Sound stays close to stock since the factory muffler stays in place. There is a low-RPM resonant tone increase that shows up during turbo spool and at low speeds under load, which is worth knowing before you install it. It settles back down at highway cruise.
