The NYTOP bumper swaps that plastic section for 3\/16-inch steel without touching the OEM crash bar or requiring any cutting. The recovery points that come with it are the more meaningful upgrade for anyone planning actual trail use, since the factory tow hooks on the Tundra aren't rated for winching or off-road recovery pulls. These mount to the frame and give you a proper rated attachment point.
